The sun which shines upon the earth, and glorifies all nature, the weird, solemn radiance of the moon, the glories of the firmament, spangled with brilliant stars, the showers that refresh the land, and cause vegetation to flourish, the precious things of nature in all their varied richness, the lofty trees, the shrubs and plants, the waving grain, the blue sky, the green earth, the changes of day and night, the renewing seasons, all speak to man of his Creator’s love. {CS 17.3}
He has linked us to Himself by all these tokens in heaven and in earth. He watches over us with more tenderness than does a mother over an afflicted child. “Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him.”—Review and Herald, September 18, 1888. {CS 17.4}
Of all the wonderful creations that God has blessed mankind with, it is His creation of mankind that He loves the most. The care that He takes to make sure that we are all safe under His wing, with every provision necessary for our well- being. God’s charity towards His creations are exemplified through all of these wonderful blessings. We are to exemplify charity towards our brothers and sisters by sharing ang giving that which God has entrusted and made us stewards of. There is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for his brother. Did our creator not do this for us? Yes, He did. Take the opportunity today to share your love with others as Christ Jesus did for you.
Our Father, God Almighty,
We thank You for the splendor and beauty of all Your creations which You have blessed us with. We are eternally grateful for Your love and compassion which You continue to bestow upon us. We pray that with all You have blessed us with, that we may be able to share the love with all of our brothers and sisters in need. We pray for wisdom and strength to do that which is right in Your sight. We pray that You continue to help us and increase our benevolence towards our fellow men, Your children. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers according to Your will. It’s in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
