The great accuser may revile you with accusations railing
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
But, Christ Jesus will counter that with His loving mercy prevailing
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
Satan may content for your body, as he did with Moses the Lord’s servant
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
But, Jesus Christ is interceding for you, pouring out His heart with love fervent
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
Satan will present you sins as evidence that one like you could not be saved
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
But, Jesus on the road to Calvary, the way of your salvation paved
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
The adversary may try to chain you about in your wickedness and worldly lust
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
But, Jesus came to set the captives free, and in Him you can fully trust
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
The Saviour, Jesus Christ, turns no weeping contrite one away
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
O trembling soul take courage, freely will Christ give you victory over sin today
Satan cannot intimidate Jesus
