We all will experience sorrow in this earthly realm
The Hands of Calvary
Yet, all can take comfort knowing, Jesus is at the Helm
The Hands of Calvary
Jesus Christ left the brightest of courts above
The Hands of Calvary
To selflessly die for us out of His great love
The Hands of Calvary
In the palms of His hands, the nail was surely put
The Hands of Calvary
The Adversary, at the cross, was trampled underfoot
The Hands of Calvary
Even so, the Messiah’s heel was bruised and battered
The Hands of Calvary
Jesus would not have suffered so, if to Him you did not matter
The Hands of Calvary
Dear reader, I bid you ponder this infinitely-tender report
The Hands of Calvary
The nail-scarred hands of Jesus will give you full-support
