Individual Freedom, Yet Complete Harmony

Ezekiel 1:28

1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so [was] the appearance of the brightness round about. This [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Individual Freedom, Yet Complete Harmony—

God is acquainted with every man. Could our eyes be opened we would see that eternal justice is at work in our world. A powerful influence, not under man’s control, is working. Man may fancy that he is directing matters, but there are higher than human influences at work. The servants of God know that He is working to counteract Satan’s plans. Those who know not God cannot comprehend His movements. There is at work a wheel within a wheel. Apparently the complication of machinery is so intricate that man can see only a complete entanglement. But the divine hand, as seen by the prophet Ezekiel, is placed upon the wheels, and every part moves in complete harmony, each doing its specified work, yet with individual freedom of action (Manuscript 13, 1898). {4BC 1161.3}

Ezekiel’s vision demonstrates God’s intelligent design that upholds everything in the universe. There is nothing in this world, as we know it, that occurred by random or happenstance events. God is the master of the universe and all creation. God has no beginning nor end. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Still today, man studies the intricate details of God’s design in an attempt to comprehend the infinite wisdom and intelligent design and creation of what is life. Life can only come from life with all life pointing back to the beginning of creation as given to us in the Book of Genesis. God loves his children and watches over them from His throne in the third heaven. He knows every one of them, even before they were in the womb. The LORD shines His heavenly glory from above to bring His children into the light, out of the darkness Satan casts into the world. If only all would receive and claim His promises given as a gift to all who accept them. God has a plan for you. If you follow in His word, you are His disciples indeed, you will know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Remember, the truth saves. Amen.

Our Father, which art in heaven,

We come into Your presence in thanksgiving, praise, and prayer. We thank You for Your wonderful creation. We thank You for Your wisdom in perfecting the world we live in and for creating us in Your own image, without spot or blemish, and faultless. We are sorry for what happened in the Garden of Eden when Satan came upon Eve. We are thankful that from that point on, You interceded on our behalf. You are everlasting to everlasting, knowing the beginning from the end. We thank You for taking Satan down at the cross so that we may have eternal life as well. You are the owner of the world and the heavens declare Your glory. We praise You for delivering us from the snares of Satan and all our fears. Thank you for strengthening us in all our difficulties. We claim Your promise that You will be with us in the deep waters and fiery trials of life, and that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We thank You for Your word that is truth from the beginning and brings us hope. Thank You for revealing Yourself to us, which makes us wise unto salvation. We thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. We pray that all may open their hearts to the Spirit’s influence and compare spiritual things with spiritual. Help all to compare scripture with scripture to discover the truth. The truth is contained in Your Word. Help all to open their mind that You may guide them into all truth. Please shine Your heavenly glory from above to bring all Your children into the light, out of the darkness Satan casts into the world. We pray all will follow in Your word, become Your disciples, know the truth, and by Your truth be made free. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers, in the name of Christ Jesus, we pray. Amen.
